Know About our "AISWO"

Adaikala Matha Institute of Social Work (AISWO) is started in the year 1999 and affiliated to Bharathidasan University, It is a co-educational institute, provides three specializations viz. Personal Management and Industrial Relation, Community Development and Project Management, Medical & Psychiatry. The course is a full time two year Master Degree, which is a professional course and also gives orientation to students in above mentioned three fields. The course comprises four equal semesters.

The syllabus includes theory papers and field work training's in the respective specializations. The field work training comprise orientations, observation visits, Block placements and concurrent field work training. The students are trained at NGO's, hospitals and industries to conduct case work, group work, community awareness programmes and other methods of social works like research, administration etc.

The faculties of the institute are very well qualified in the profession of social work from different reputed schools of socialworks. We are happy to say that our institute has 100% results and 100% placement to our outgoing students. The credit goes to all the faculty members of AISWO. The eligibility criteria for students can just be from any U.G. degree.

The students are made busy with field work activities, theory classes, research projects organizing programmes etc. The Institute runs an "Student Service Centre" which gives motivation guidance and counselling to all students of the college. It links with NGOs, colleges, Government bodies, hospitals and the industries to formulate research projects, trainup the students in professional social work methods and job placements
